Diversity

In a world of #MeToo, examples of incredibly bad ‘white old male’ leadership and power, a global pandemic and immediate threat of global catastrophe through climate change and ever increasing pollution, our world needs the best possible leadership.

We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them

- (Albert Einstein)

The world needs novel ideas, new ways of doing things and transformed leadership. Still – in industry, in government in academia half the population, women, are excluded from leadership positions and decision making and numbers are currently decreasing. Diversity – gender, ethnicity, age, social status – in all aspects is required to solve our global problems together and in particular involving those who are most affected: women, our children, the world’s poor.

It is time for change and diversity is urgently needed. This is recognized and we are blessed with some female leaders who carry the burden to transform the wrong of decades into change. Bringing issues into governments, into the press and into public life is currently the most effective way that we can bring about change.

IAMT is fully committed to train future leaders, women, international leaders, through;

  1. outstanding science through first class research,
  2. critical thinking and engagement, and
  3. integrated leadership training with research training.

Inspirational resources will be shared here, while events will be hosted to connect, inform, bring change – inside us and outside. Join forces, together for diversity and our common future!
